Chartered Accountant Practice Management

CA Compliance Platform

Practice Management Engineered for Modern Firms.

A professional practice platform concept designed to help chartered accountants organize client information, workflows, compliance activities, and practice operations.

In Development

This is a platform concept in development for Indian CA firms and professional practices. It does not guarantee statutory compliance and it does not replace professional judgement.

Practice-management challenges

A firm’s work is spread across clients, documents, deadlines, and people. The operational risk is not only a missed date. It is also a file, a task, or a status that nobody else on the team can see.

The CA Compliance Platform is being explored as a way to organise that work. It is not a substitute for the Chartered Accountant’s own review, and it is not a filing portal.

The proposed platform

The concept is a practice system for client information, workflow, compliance activity, and day-to-day organisation. Language on this page is aimed at Indian CA firms and professional practices.

No integration with the Income Tax portal, GST portal, MCA, banks, or any other third party is claimed. Those connections will be described only if they are built and verified.

Planned feature categories

These groups describe the concept. They are not implemented features.

Client and contact management

Keep a firm’s client and contact records in one operational list.

Planned

Client document organisation

File records against the client they belong to.

Planned

Compliance calendars and task tracking

Make recurring work visible as dates and tasks.

Planned

Engagement and assignment management

Record which engagement a piece of work belongs to.

Planned

Deadline visibility and reminders

Surface due dates. A reminder is a prompt, not a compliance guarantee.

Planned

Practice workflow management

Move work through the steps the firm defines.

Planned

Team task assignment

Show who is responsible for a task.

Planned

Reporting and operational dashboards

Summarise workload and status for the people running the practice.

Planned

Configurable notification workflows

Notify the people the firm chooses, once that behaviour exists.

Planned

Future integration capabilities

Room for later connections. None are advertised as available.

Planned

Intended audience

The concept is being discussed with these practices in mind.

Chartered accountant firms

Practices that need a clearer operational picture of client work.

Planned

Professional teams

Staff who share documents, deadlines, and assignments.

Planned

Example workflow

An illustration of how a firm might move work through the concept. This is not a live product flow.

  1. 01

    Open the client

Start from the client record rather than from a loose folder.

  2. 02

    Attach the work

Connect the engagement, the documents, and the due date.

  3. 03

    Assign the task

Give the next action to a person on the team.

  4. 04

    Review the status

Read what is open. The platform would not decide whether a filing is legally complete.
